TELUK INTAN – The cleanliness aspect of food premises is crucial, as any negligence is feared to be a cause of food contamination.
The Teluk Intan Municipal Council (MPTI) has conducted an operation on food outlets at the Simpang Empat Hutan Melintang to ensure compliance on this matter.
The operation involved the Licensing Division along with the Enforcement Division of MPTI.
As a result, a total of seven compounds were issued during the inspection, comprising two compounds for license conditions and five compounds for obstructions.
MPTI reminds all premises within the operational area of the local authority to consistently adhere to business license requirements.
This is because the failure to do so could result in legal enforcement actions.
