KAMPAR – A total of 13 staff members from the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman Kampar Campus (UTAR) have undertaken a mural painting project at ACS Kampar School.
Among them are lecturers and staff from various faculties within UTAR.
This community service project (CSR) is one of UTAR’s initiatives to provide free services to the local community, not only in Kampar but also in other areas.
The mural project, themed around Visit Perak 2024 and Environment, was chosen to coincide with the Visit Perak 2024 campaign.
Ehlid Luli, the Head of the ACS Kampar Mural Project, stated that this mural project will be extended to other locations, not only to enhance the scenery.
“This is a genuine effort by UTAR staff to engage with the community, especially the South Kinta District Education Office (PPD) which has provided significant cooperation along with ACS Methodist Kampar and UTAR.
“This project would not have been successful without the collaboration and support from the Kampar District Council and Hume Cement Sdn Bhd,” he said.
