Get your engines revving for this upcoming weekend, as Ipoh Mali Autofest (IMA) races into Ipoh on September 9 (Saturday) and 10 (Sunday), at the Stadium Indera Mulia carpark, from 10 am to 10 pm for both days.
Organised by CM Motorsports, and co-organised by Race Culture, Rocket Nation, Hot Rocket as well as their promotional partner, the Ipoh City Council, this event is expected to bring in over 10,000 visitors for each day, for a total of over 20,000.
This event is slated to be one of the biggest auto-events of the year for Ipoh, and is designed for both enthusiasts as well as industry professionals; providing a platform for showcasing the latest and greatest in cars and accessories. Vendors will be able to showcase their wares while entrepreneurs will have plenty of opportunity to foster networking, collaboration and promote their businesses, especially in the automotive industry.
In addition to the exhibitions and displays, it will also feature two exciting race events, the Gymkhana and Autocross. Over 100 skilled racers from all over Malaysia will be participating, including those from Singapore.
In addition, Mr. Mika Hakimi, a seasoned sim racer and Toyota Racing Gazoo driver, will also be paying a visit. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to witness his talent and, for those with an insatiable competitive spirit, attempt to beat his record.
