Ipoh: The public is invited to participate in the Apron Walk 2KM for World Food Safety 2023 event, set to take place on October 21, 2023, at Sultan Abdul Aziz Recreational Park (Padang Polo).
According to a statement on the Perak State Health Department’s (JKNP) social media page, interested individuals can register and familiarize themselves with the established terms and conditions by scanning the QR Code or visiting the link https://forms.gle/G2E2HbwtNaErVRTe6.
“Participation is open to all residents of Perak. The registration fee is RM45.00, and the first 100 participants will qualify for mystery prizes.
“All participants are required to gather on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM at the location for participant assembly at 8:00 AM, and the event will conclude at the same location,” the statement said.
Registered participants are required to collect their participant kits, including T-shirts, aprons, drawstring bags, caps, and face towels, from the Safety and Food Quality Division, JKNP, Ipoh, from October 16 to October 20, 2023, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Registration forms must be completed in full and accompanied by a copy of the transaction receipt. Payments can be made to the Maybank Islamic account (558015459262), Kelab Gabungan Kesihatan Negeri Perak, with the reference APRONWALK2023.
The registration deadline is September 14, 2023, before 5:00 PM.
All participants who complete the Apron Walk will receive a ‘Finisher Medal’ and a Participation Certificate (e-Cert) and will be eligible for a lucky draw.
This event is in conjunction with World Food Safety Day 2023.
