IPOH: One man sustained severe injuries while another suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Putra Road, Bandar Baru Putra, Bercham, today.
A spokesperson for the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) in Perak reported that the accident involved a Perodua Bezza and a Honda City.
They received a distress call regarding the incident at 7:55 AM, prompting members of the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Station to swiftly respond to the scene.
“A 28-year-old driver of the Perodua Bezza was trapped and suffered severe injuries, while another individual in the Honda City sustained minor injuries.
“Firefighters extricated the trapped victim using rescue equipment and handed them over to the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) personnel for further medical attention,” the spokesperson added.
The operation, led by Mahmud Azaddin Mohd Najmuddin, concluded at 8:30 AM.
