Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival at Ipoh Parade

As this year’s enchanting mid-autumn festival approaches, Ipoh Parade unveils an exclusively crafted lineup of events that promises to bring joy and celebration to all on this coming weekend, September 16 and 17.

Prepared to be enthralled this Saturday, by the grace and skill of lion dance troupes from the local schools’ lion dance troupes as they vie for top honours in the Traditional Lion Dance Inter-school Competition.

In addition, the winners of the highly competitive Lions Clubs & Ipoh Parade Lantern Making Contest 4.0 will be awarded their well-deserved prizes at 5 pm. Finally, from 8 pm onwards, join in on a vibrant and colourful lantern parade that will wind its way around the mall, spreading the warm glow of unity and festivity.

The excitement continues on Sunday, with the Acrobatic Lion Dance Competition 3.0, featuring dazzling displays of acrobatics and precision from troupes far and wide.
