IPOH: In a recent report by Ipohecho, we highlighted the dire situation of a house on Merpati Street near the traffic lights leading to AEON Kinta City, but no actions were taken by the authorities.
Once again, Ipoh Echo ventured to the location to get a closer look at the condition of the house, which is filled with various types of rubbish.
To our astonishment, buried beneath the mountain of trash that nearly occupies the entire parking space, we discovered yet another locally-branded car.
Local authorities, specifically the Perak State Health Department (JKNP) and the Ipoh City Council (MBI), must take immediate action against the owner of this property.
The homeowner, believed to be an elderly woman, has been accumulating discarded items and garbage, undoubtedly creating a breeding ground for rats, ants, and venomous creatures.
Furthermore, heaps of garbage have spilt beyond the confines of the property’s fence, but it is not immediately apparent due to a car also engulfed in the pile of trash.
Once again, it is emphasized that local authorities must take stringent measures against the homeowner to uphold the city’s image and ensure the safety of nearby neighbours.
