After being reported a week ago, the condition of the signal light pole on Pengkalan Barat 18 Street, which protruded due to lack of a cover, has now been resolved.
Today’s inspection by Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic found that a metal cover with a securing bolt has been installed.
Thanks to the proactive action of the authorities for taking note of the public complaint that was raised.
Previously, the entangled electrical wires were a safety concern, and the potential for accidents was high.
This is because, according to safety practices, every traffic signal pole should have a securely locked cover.
Therefore, it is hoped that the authorities will always be vigilant in monitoring such situations to prevent any further oversight incidents.
