IPOH: Two men died, suspected to ĥave been electrocuted while working at a burger stall in Taman Bercham Raya, here, early this morning.
Ipoh District Police Chief, ACP Yahaya Hassan said the two victims, aged 30 and 14, were employees of that stall.
He said officers from the Tambun Police Station received information from the public at 1:15 a.m. today regarding the incident.
“An initial investigation by the police at the scene found two men unconscious beside the burger stall.
“They were confirmed dead by ambulance personnel from Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB), Ipoh.
“Further investigation revealed that both victims were stall workers and are believed to have been electrocuted while working at the burger stall,” he said in a statement here today.
Therefore, Yahaya said the case was classified as sudden death, and the bodies of both victims were sent to HRPB Ipoh for a post-mortem to determine the cause of death.
