LUMUT: Nearly 70 entrepreneurs from the state of Perak participated in the Cross-Border e-Commerce Program – Perak Entrepreneurs Go Global 2023, organized by Digital Perak Corporation Holdings in collaboration with the Perak State Entrepreneurs Secretariat and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation at the IKM Lumut Hall recently.
Digital Perak, in a statement, mentioned that this inter-agency collaboration program aims to provide guidance and information on the latest opportunities and incentives under federal entrepreneurship agencies for local entrepreneurs interested in expanding their businesses through the e-commerce sector.
“Participants had the opportunity to receive direct insights from Digital Trade MDEC Department Manager, Jayaraman Subramanian, and industry experts such as the Founder of KK Smart Ecommerce Sdn Bhd, Koh Tak Song; CEO of MyGalore, Intan Farhana Husin and Digital Strategy Expert/GM Site, Joshua Tai.
“The Social Security Organization and ClicksPerak were also present as exhibitors at this program and shared information on Entrepreneur Contributions & Benefits as well as a Briefing on Cashless Payment Clicks@Perak,” it said.
Furthermore, Digital Perak Corporation Holdings, through the Innovation & Multimedia Hub unit, is actively working to empower local digital entrepreneurs in line with the state government’s efforts to increase state revenue through the digital economy sector.
