KAMPAR: Relentless strong winds and heavy rainfall have led to a 20-year-old house being crushed by a fallen tree.
Ir. Saiful Azzuan Aznam, the Managing Director of Puncak Emas Infra Sdn Bhd (PEISB), disclosed that the incident disrupted traffic along the roads in Kampung Baru Jeram.
This natural calamity also caused damage to the car garage structure and the porch of the nearby house.
Immediate action was taken to remove the fallen tree following information received from the Chairman of the Kampar District Council, as confirmed by the PEISB concessionaire.
“PEISB is always ready to respond to any emergency, including but not limited to incidents such as landslides, bridge collapses, floods, hazardous material spills, fallen trees, collapsed drainage structures, damaged road barriers, damaged walkways, and more,” he stated in a press release today.
