IPOH: The grand prize, a Perodua Axia 1.0 E (MT) car, awaits lucky residents of Ipoh who settle their annual property tax without arrears.
Additionally, four 110cc motorcycles, a 65-inch Smart TV, and various attractive household and digital items are up for grabs.
Other prizes include 200 cash consolation prizes totaling RM 99,000.
To participate, Ipoh residents need to download the MBI (Ipoh City Council) Property Tax Module (DMBI) app and register as users to qualify for the Lucky Draw in 2024.
For early payment of the 2024 Property Tax, MBI offers a rebate of up to RM5 for the first 20,000 early payers.
To further incentivize early payments, MBI conducts monthly lucky draws for November and December 2023, with a total prize pool of RM9,000 for 20 winners.
These lucky draws aim to encourage early payment practices for the 2024 Property Tax among residents.
Through the DMBI app, registered users can make online payments using the FPX system and e-Wallets.
The system ensures safety and speed, with notification alerts for users when new bills are issued.
