IPOH – Digital Perak Corporation Holdings (Digital Perak) remains proactive in advancing the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector through digital platforms, aligning with the current technological evolution and online purchasing trends.
The Chief Executive Officer of Digital Perak, Mohamad Suhaimi Mohamad Tahir announced that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Digital Perak and Nityo Infotech Services Sdn. Bhd. (Nityo) is set to transform the S.M.A.R.T Niaga@Perak application into a more efficient and productive e-commerce platform.
“The use of the Shopmatic e-commerce platform provided by Nityo will elevate entrepreneurs to a higher level and potentially penetrate international markets, in line with the Perak Sejahtera 2030 agenda under the Digital Economy flagship program.
“The Shopmatic platform is also an added value to facilitate Perak entrepreneurs in digitally marketing their products, equipped with payment gateways and logistics ecosystems.
“It also comes with an interactive dashboard providing built-in analytical capabilities for business information and management.
“Information will be displayed in the form of data and insights on daily, weekly, or monthly sales transactions and sales figures broken down by product,” he said during his speech at the Memorandum of Understanding Exchange Ceremony between Digital Perak and Nityo Infotech Services at Hotel Casuarina @Meru yesterday.
The MoU exchange ceremony was officiated by Mohamad Suhaimi Mohamad Tahir, Chief Executive Officer of Digital Perak, together with Country Head of Nityo, Rajasekhar Gummadi, witnessed by Perak Chief Minister, Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamad, and Chairman of the Communication, Multimedia, and NGO Committee, Mohd Azlan Helmi Helmi.
He further explained that at the initial stage, Nityo will guide and implement onboarding for the top 200 MSMEs within S.M.A.R.T Niaga@Perak without any cost to the State Government and the MSMEs themselves.
This initiative accelerates the readiness of the state of Perak to adopt technology that drives innovations and opens up opportunities for government agencies, private entities, and entrepreneurs to enhance the quality of service delivery to the people and consumers.
