The Dementia Cafe of Ipoh invites people living with dementia, their care partners, families and the community at large, to a festive season gathering on December 12 (Tuesday) at 1 Lasam Greentown, from 9.45 am to 12 pm.
With a theme of “Dementia – Walking the Yellow Brick Road”, they aim to show that the journey with dementia need not be an arduous one. With inspiration, determination, love and understanding, care partners and people living with dementia can share the journey with positive affirmation to achieve good outcomes and an optimum quality of life.
Joining as well will be speaker, Simon Lam, a professional nurse who has specialised in the area of dementia for over 40 years as a clinician, in management and was a previous director of an aged care consultancy. He has been focused on dementia specific, garden and building design for the last 12 years.
In addition, sing along with Bob & Maggy, who will bring a festive Yuletide atmosphere with their music.
