Dinosaur Encounter World Opens Its Gates to the Public

Batu Gajah – The educational and entertaining park, Dinosaur Encounter World (DEW), which incurred a cost of RM15 million, is now open to the public to personally experience the world of dinosaurs.

Chief Technology Officer and CEO of Wegrow Global, Dr Anir Syazwan Sharbirin, stated that the DEW expedition adopts the theme ‘Area 65: Back from Extinction.’ In the first phase, visitors also have the opportunity to explore the dinosaur cloning laboratory, brought to life with state-of-the-art technology.

Meanwhile, the second phase known as Dino Matrix, scheduled to operate from January 2024, will present the Immersive 5D Motion Adventure, a first in Malaysia.

“This modern technology promises a five-dimensional immersive experience, specifically designed for interactive enthusiasts.

“Differing from conventional strategies, the applied approach is more dynamic due to the combination of immersive experiences and leisure activities, including shopping. It is characterized as a ‘game-changer’ in the tourism industry,” said Dr Anir Syazwan Sharbirin during a media briefing at Silverlakes Village Outlet on Friday.

The entrance fees to DEW for adults aged 13-59 are RM45.00, for children aged 4-12 are RM30.00, for senior citizens aged 60 and above are RM30.00, and for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) it is RM28.00.

Special rates will be given to MyKad/MyKid holders. Adults aged 13-59 will pay RM30.00, children aged 4-12 will pay RM20.00, senior citizens aged 60 and above will pay RM20.00, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) will pay RM18.00.

DEW operates from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Thursday) and 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Friday to Sunday).
