IPOH- Hotel Rivertel Teluk Intan, emerged as the winner of the MyBHA Perak Clean, Beautiful & Creative Lobby Hotel competition.
Mybha Negeri Perak Chairman, Zamari Muhyi said the organization of the competition aims to improve the friendly, clean and quality image of the services provided by Perak Negeri budget hotels.
“At the same time, this competition can also apply the attitude of always keeping clean, especially the lobby and public toilets of the hotel.
“A total of 26 hotels under MyBHA have participated in this competition and overall have given a good commitment.
“This competition also succeeded in creating healthy competition among hoteliers under 3 stars, especially in the hospitality industry in this state,” he told the Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic after presenting the prizes to the winners at the Afternoon Drinks & Prize Presentation of the Bersih, Cantik & Kreatif Lobby Competition, Malaysian Budget & Business Hotel Association (Mybha) Perak State on Wednesday.
First place received RM2,000 with a certificate, runner-up ARTWORKS Hotel Ipoh Sdn. Bhd received RM1,000 with a certificate and third place was won by two hotels namely Sayong Resort Kuala Kangsar and Gopeng Glamping Park each receiving RM500 and a certificate.
Present were the Director of MOTAC Perak, Muhammad Aminuddin Abdul Majid, and the Chief Executive of Tourism Perak, Nurmalis Musa.
