BERUAS: An area near the Beruas Public Market has become a canvas for the creative ideas of talented artists.
The Manjung Municipal Council, in collaboration with Vale Malaysia Minerals Sdn. Bhd. will enhance the area with various mural paintings.
This will be implemented in stages starting from next year, taking into account suggestions and ideas from the residents of Beruas.
The initial phase of mural painting is already 70% complete.
It portrays a woman dressed in traditional Perak attire, chosen as the main concept against a backdrop of batik, symbolizing the timeless artistry of women skilled in batik making.
Adjacent to it is an image of a flowering tree representing the Beruas tree, highlighting the origin of the name Beruas.
Once completed, this location is poised to become a must-visit spot for both Beruas locals and external visitors, capturing memories through photographs.
