Baha’i Community of Ipoh and Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (HRPB) Blood Bank, are jointly organising a blood donation campaign at Bercham Baha’i Centre on January 7, from 9 am to 4 pm.
The location will be at 26, Persiaran Bercham Selatan 19, Taman Bercham Jaya, 31400, Ipoh, Perak.
Spare 15 minutes of your time and you can save up to 3 lives. The blood that is donated can not only save the lives of people in an emergency, but improve their quality of life. Such as those suffering from kidney issues.
As usual, potential donors should ensure that they are eligible to donate. Meaning that they should follow the criteria below:
1) Well and healthy
2) Aged between 18 and 60 years old
3) Have a weight of 45 kg of above
4) Have had a minimum of 5 hours of sleep
5) Had a meal before blood donation
6) No medical illness
7) Last whole blood donation was 3 months ago
8) For female donors: not pregnant, last menstrual period was more than 3 days ago, and not breastfeeding
