IPOH: The fate of the family of a security guard who was murdered at the Gunung Lang campsite here last week has garnered support.
The Perak State Department of Social Welfare (JKM) has provided immediate aid of RM300 for the needs of the affected family.
Furthermore, JKM has agreed to approve Child Assistance amounting to RM650 per month for the children of the deceased.
This information was disclosed by the State Office of the Executive Councillor for Women, Family, Social Welfare, Entrepreneurial Development, and Cooperatives.
JKM will also assess the need for counselling sessions on the emotional well-being of the family.
In the incident on December 3, the victim, the late Razis Jamal, 41, was found dead, believed to have been murdered at the crime scene before being discovered by the public.
The police have arrested a man in connection with the incident to assist in the investigation.
The deceased leaves behind a widow and three children aged six months to 13 years old.
