Second-hand goods traders in Ipoh contribute funds to SJKT St. Philomena Convent

IPOH: A total of RM1,501 has been donated by second hand goods traders in Ipoh to the management of Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil (SJKT) St. Philomena Convent.

The funds, collected jointly by the traders, reflect a sense of  community responsibility.

This contribution is intended for the benefit of the students at the school.

The donation was handed over by a representative of the traders at the Kallumalai Sri Subramaniyar Temple, Gunung Cheroh.

The founder of A1 Cash & Carry Supermarket, Vignes Thillai, was also present.

In addition to presenting the school with the donation, the association of second hand goods traders in Ipoh also provided free meals to 2,000 visitors at the temple.
