IPOH: Several main roads in the city involving the Old Town area will be closed tomorrow (Saturday) for the Cultural Night Program and decorated car procession in conjunction with the 15th day of the Chinese New Year (Chap Goh Mei).
Closure will begin at 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. to ensure the celebration runs smoothly without any issues.
The main location is the Old Town Ipoh area extending to Taman Dr. Seenivasagam.
Nearby areas involved include Jalan Sultan Yussof, Persiaran Bijeh Timah, Jalan Bandar Timah, Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Jalan S.P Seenivasagam, Jalan Kompleks Islam, Jalan Lim Bo Seng, Jalan Kecil (along the Kinta River), Jalan Sultan Iskandar, and Jalan Sultan Idris Shah.
Residents of Ipoh, especially road users, are advised to avoid using the roads affected by the closures.
