IPOH – The renovation and addition of patient beds at KPJ Specialist Hospital Ipoh are initiatives aimed at enhancing services for patients.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KPJ Specialist Hospital Ipoh, Badrul Hisyam Ibrahim, stated that the renovation works for the special diagnostic centre on the first floor will commence in July 2024.
“The special diagnostic center provides facilities for health screening, endoscopy, and several others.
The special diagnostic center will be fully completed in the 4th quarter of 2024, and 14 beds will be added in the 2nd quarter of 2025; the inauguration will take place early next year, he told the media after the Chinese New Year Luncheon 2024 at De’ Mouth today.
“The addition of these beds brings the total to 281 beds compared to the previous 267 beds.
“With the renovation of the special diagnostic centre and additional beds, I believe patients will be more comfortable and satisfied with the services we provide,” he concluded.
