IPOH – The issue of overgrown bushes obstructing signboards has garnered attention and swift action from the Public Works Department (JKR).
The issue, initially highlighted by Ipoh Echo/Peraktastik on February 20th via Facebook and the Ipoh Echo website here, grabbed the attention of netizens, amassing 83 comments, 10 shares, and 163 likes.
JKR promptly cleared the affected area along Jalan Bercham, the exit ramp towards the main road, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, leading to the city centre, recently.
Additionally, the signboard for ‘Casuarina@ Meru’ has been replaced and relocated to a new spot.
This swift action not only preserves the image of Ipoh City but also prompts hopes that JKR will monitor similar issues in other areas.
