IPOH: With the upcoming school session just around the corner, many parents are undoubtedly feeling the financial strain of the necessary expenses. However, three students, who are also foster children under the Social Security Organization (Perkeso), breathed a sigh of relief as they received assistance from the agency.
Aged between 7 and 17 years old, these children were provided support under the program to ensure that they had all the necessary supplies for the upcoming school session.
The program was attended by the Director of Perkeso Perak, V. Mohanadas, in collaboration with the management of MYDIN Meru Hypermarket.
According to Mohanadas, they were pleased to witness the joy on the faces of these foster children as their school needs were fulfilled.
Simultaneously, a birthday celebration was held to commemorate the birthday of one of the foster children, which happened to fall on the same day.
“We hope that this effort will inspire these children to study hard and achieve excellent results. There is no reward expected from the parents other than the academic excellence, which will be the best reward for them,” he said.
