Perak Women for Women Society (PWW) recently hosted an intimate fellowship lunch at Dim Sum Discovery by Canning to commemorate International Women’s Day 2024, under the theme “Inspire Inclusion.” The atmosphere was abuzz with camaraderie as members of PWW, ladies from the B40 community, supporters, and volunteers gathered to celebrate the achievements of women worldwide.
From the moment guests stepped through the warehouse doors, the air was filled with good vibes. Founder of Dim Sum Discovery by Canning, Ms. Ceylyn Tay, welcomed the attendees with an inspiring pep talk, setting the tone for an afternoon of sisterhood. Ms. Tay emphasised the importance of women supporting each other in their personal and professional endeavours.
The gathering was a true reflection of sisterhood in action. Kimberly Tan, the President of PWW, expressed gratitude to the attendees, she emphasised the significance of the day and the shared bond that brought everyone together. It was a moment of solidarity, as women from all walks of life came together to celebrate their collective strength and resilience on this special day.
Amidst the lively conversations and selfies, guests enjoyed the delightful array of dim sum dishes expertly prepared by the talented team at Dim Sum Discovery. As plates were passed around and stories were shared, it became evident that this was a celebration of women, and their unwavering spirit.
Throughout the event, the spirit of inclusivity and empowerment was palpable. Women with a common mission gathered to celebrate milestones and support each other’s journeys, fostering meaningful connections and forging friendships.
