SUNGAI SIPUT: The relationship between the police and the community is strengthened through the “1st Day At School Program” for the 2024/2025 session at Sekolah Menengah Jenis Kebangsaan (SMJK) Shing Chung, Sungai Siput.
This program is more meaningful with the presence of the Chief of the Criminal Investigation Department at the Perak Contingent Police Headquarters (IPK), Senior Assistant Commissioner Luqman Abdul Rahman.
Also present were the Deputy Director of the Perak State Education Department (JPN), Zulkafli Mohamed Mokhtar; Deputy District Education Officer (Student Development) of Kuala Kangsar, Azman Mazlan; and Deputy Chairman of the School Management Board, Lok Ah Kaw.
It began with welcoming the students who attended school, signing the visitor’s book, and attending a gathering with invited guests and members of SMJK Shing Chung.
During the gathering, the Principal of SMJK Shing Chung, Lim Chiew Ngoh, provided information about the school.
Programs like this are well received by both the Perak State Education Department (JPN) and the school because they align with the common goal of fostering cooperation and collaboration.
The school, in particular, and the JPN are very satisfied with the School Monitoring Officer (PPS) program as a whole because it greatly assists in both safety and disciplinary development.
