IPOH: Member of the State Legislative Assembly (ADUN) for Jelapang, Cheah Pou Hian, treated the media in Perak by celebrating them at the breaking of fast event last night.
Approximately 20 media from various agencies, including print media and news portals, attended the event.
Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic was among the media present at the event.
This is also a routine event organized by the Jelapang assemblyman every year to celebrate media colleagues.
Held in a relaxed yet friendly atmosphere, this event indirectly strengthens the existing relationship between both parties even further.
According to Pou Hian, he appreciates the role of the media which is an integral part of the government’s communication system.
This is because the information and news delivered by the media also enable the public to stay informed about current developments.
“I appreciate the patience of my media colleagues for attending amidst their busy schedules with assignments.
“Through this gathering, it also allows me to meet media friends outside of working hours and exchange views,” he said.
