Ipoh: Perak State Agricultural Development Corporation (SADC) has prepared 24 cattle and 3,600 fresh chickens for sale at subsidized prices through the Rahmah Aidilfitri Sale.
According to Dato’ Yahanis Yahya, the CEO of SADC, 4,000 trays of eggs and 200 fresh duck meats are also available for purchase.
He mentioned that approximately 1,600 pre-orders for these items have been recorded since the sale began.
“The pre-order option is our initiative to allow the public to purchase festive necessities without the need to physically visit. Orders can be collected at designated locations from last Friday until Monday.
“We also accept walk-in purchases as our stock for both pre-orders and on-site sales is sufficient,” he stated.
Furthermore, Perak SADC organized the Semarak Ramadan program, where all headquarters staff participated in cooking activities to prepare meals for the SADC iftar at Masjid Sultan Idris Shah II.
Among the dishes prepared were bone broth soup, beef rendang, corn porridge, lemang (glutinous rice cooked in bamboo), and sambal petai shrimp.
