This initiative also positions PUO as an educational institution that produces quality and holistic TVET graduates.
The event was organized by the Indian Cultural Dance Club under the Department of Sports, Co-curricular, and Culture of PUO.
A total of 350 lecturers, students, and alumni of PUO participated in cultural activities and traditional Indian games.
Activities included Bharatanatyam dance, Silambam (stick martial art), Ponggal cooking, Kolam drawing, Henna painting, and various other activities.
The program advisor, Ts.Dr. Ramu Velusamy, stated that this is one of the student development programs to meet KPI 4 of JPPKK.
“This provides students with opportunities to showcase leadership skills, event management, and communication skills.
“This program also serves as a platform for PUO members to strengthen relationships and promote unity among communities through Indian cultural activities,” he said.
