Following up from last year’s 520 Movie Viewing Charity event, Junior Chambers International (JCI) Ipoh is organising a charity horse ride event named “520.1 Charity Ride” to spread joy and raise funds for Persatuan Kebajikan Anak Yatim & Miskin Yi Shan & Persatuan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Kasih Sayang Ipoh. The event will be held on 19th May 2024 at the Iskandar Polo Club.
“We are excited to host this event and raise funds through fundraising and ticket sales for a worthy cause, and we are also honoured to invite PESDeaf to be our Co-Host. They are a group representing the deaf and mute, so on that day they will teach us some sign language.”
“We will also provide some games, batik painting workshop, horse feeding and horse shower. Lunch will also be provided. The “520.1 Charity Ride‘’ is a great opportunity for the orphanage, alongside participants of all ages and riding abilities to come together and enjoy a fun day while giving back to the community.”
“JCI Ipoh is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that seeks to develop the leadership qualities of its members as well as improve the community as a whole. This 520 charity event is a follow-up to our previous charity events, such as last year’s Golf for the Deaf and 520 Movie Viewing Charity.
