TAIPING: Zoo Taiping & Night Safari (ZTNS) welcomes the public to participate in the mascot design competition for ZTNS.
According to the Mayor of Taiping Municipal Council (MPT), Khairul Amir Mohamad Zubir, the competition is open to all Malaysians and all segments of society.
It coincides with the celebration of the 150th Anniversary of Taiping Town and the 63rd Anniversary of ZTNS.
He said the competition is still open until June 16, offering a first prize of RM2,000 cash and five consolation prizes of RM150 each for winners.
“The creative and unique mascot designs among participants can create healthy competition and provide an opportunity for Zoo Taiping & Night Safari to choose the best mascot design.
“This is the first time it is being organized, and it is hoped that the public will seize this opportunity.
“Hopefully, the organization of this competition will receive a good response from various segments of the community in celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Taiping Town and the 63rd Anniversary of Zoo Taiping & Night Safari,” he said on Friday,” he said
