IPOH: The route on the West Coast Expressway (WCE) will be temporarily closed to accommodate the RHB WCE Century Ride 2024 cycling event this Sunday.
The event will run from 2 am to 5 pm.
WCE stated that the WCE highway will be temporarily closed from the Lekir Interchange to the South Taiping Interchange (both directions).
This is to ensure the smoothness and safety of the program.
Road diversions will be implemented starting at the junction between WCE/Federal Route FT5 at Batu 14 Lekir and at the junction between WCE/Federal Route FT50/PLUS Changkat Jering.
Users are advised to use alternative routes and plan their journey early to avoid any inconvenience.
