IPOH: The police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating a 14-year-old girl, Safiea Dania Muhamad Zakri, who has been missing since April 24th.
It is understood that Safiea Dania was last seen at 6:35 PM on April 24th, when she took an e-hailing ride to work.
According to Ipoh District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner (ACP) Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad, the girl’s mother reported her missing on April 26th.
He added that her last known address is Lot 60630 Jalan Intan, Kampung Dato’ Ahmad Said.
“She left her house around 6:45 PM on April 24th to go to work with her older brother.
“However, their vehicle broke down during the journey, and her brother asked Safiea Dania to take an e-hailing service to work.
“That was the last time she was seen, and she did not carry any luggage at the time,” he said in a media statement on Thursday.
Abang Zainal Abidin noted that the missing girl was wearing a purple long-sleeved shirt, black pants, and a black headscarf.
If not wearing the headscarf, her chest-length hair is dyed purple.
She is approximately 159cm tall, weighs 56kg, and has a fair complexion.
“Anyone who finds or has information regarding the individual is urged to contact the Case Investigating Officer, Inspector Anis Safira Roslan, at 018-7865440.
“Alternatively, contact the Ipoh District Police Headquarters at 05-2451500 or visit the nearest police station,” he added.
