IPOH: Showcase of One District One Industry (SDSI) Northern Region and Explore Perak State Entrepreneurship, Agriculture, and Cooperative Day 2024 serves as a platform for the community to obtain various information related to entrepreneurship programs.
Held at the Stadium Indera Mulia, the program starts tomorrow until Sunday, organized by the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC) in collaboration with the Perak state government.
Deputy Chief Secretary for Entrepreneurship Development of MEDAC, Datuk Haji Zamri Salleh, said this collaboration is expected to have a greater impact and benefit for entrepreneurs and visitors.
It also creates a marketing platform and provides up-to-date information on government assistance or facilities provided, as well as related agencies.
“This program will provide opportunities for visitors to get to know potential and quality products through the SDSI product exhibition.
“Uniquely for the Northern Region community, we combine the SDSI Showcase and the Exploration of Perak State Entrepreneurship, Agriculture, and Cooperatives Day 2024.
“This is to make it more lively and beneficial to the community and entrepreneurs, especially in Perak,” he said in a statement.
The program will be officiated by the Chief Minister of Perak, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.
In addition to product exhibitions, MEDAC also provides exhibitions of ministry and state agencies for sharing entrepreneurship information and advisory services as well as exhibitions of participating agencies.
Among them are offerings of financial facilities from various entrepreneurial development institutions and alternative financing companies.
“This program also organizes pocket talk/briefing sessions involving Government agencies, financing agencies, information to obtain halal certification, and methods for free online product marketing.
“In addition, digital marketing programs on the TikTok platform will be held on the main stage in collaboration with Tekun,” he said.
Meanwhile, he said, the Exploration of Perak State Entrepreneurship, Agriculture, and Cooperative Day conducted by the Perak State Entrepreneur Secretariat (STeP) is a program that focuses on the concept of field visits to support entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs.
It is coordinated by STeP in collaboration with the District and Land Office, local authorities, as well as state and federal entrepreneurial agencies.
