Kinderlabz Sports Day 2024: A Day of Cheer, Challenge, and Champions!
IPOH: The excitement at Ipoh’s buzzing kindergarten and preschool, Kinder Labz, reached a fever pitch as students, parents, and staff gathered for its highly anticipated Annual Sports Day recently. With 266 young students participating, the day was marked by colourful parades, spirited races, and a dazzling display of athletic skills.
The festive day began with the Kinder Labz bees marching in, proudly displaying their team spirit and setting the tone for a day filled with energy and excitement. Once the bees reached the centre field, the air resonated with the stirring notes of the national anthem ‘Negaraku’ and the school song ‘Kinder Labz Bees Are The Best,’ sung joyfully and harmoniously by them.
The event kicked off with a vibrant splash of languages as four talented bees welcomed everyone in Bahasa Melayu, English, Tamil, and Chinese, showcasing the rich diversity of the community in fun, multilingual short speeches.
Bonanza Educare director of schools, Ms Evelyn Chen, then took to the stage to deliver an inspiring speech, emphasising the values of perseverance, teamwork, and giving one’s best efforts.
“We gather here to cheer our students, to show perseverance, to put our best foot forward and to do our best,” she proclaimed, officially launching the Sports Day event.
The rest of the event was marked by thrilling activities: from a vibrant pom pom performance by the students, to fierce team competitions at various stations including Maze Runner, Fast & Furious, Spongy Squeeze, Pick Me Up and more. Additionally, parents had a blast during the Parents’ Game section, Let’s Hoop Together.
The highlight of the day was the award ceremony, where Team Flyers (Red) triumphed as the overall winners, celebrated by all for their outstanding teamwork and spirit.
With branches in Jalan Woodward and Bandar Baru Sri Klebang in Ipoh as well as Tadika Ilmu Cemerlang in Seri Kembangan, Kinder Labz offers four-hour, half day and full day programmes for Pre-Nursery (2-3 years old), Nursery (3-4 years old), K1 (5 years old), and K2 (6 years old).
