‘Sentuhan Kasih KPKT’ for the people of Teluk Intan

TELUK INTAN: Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT) has allocated RM520 million for development and upgrading projects in the Teluk Intan parliamentary constituency.

Under KPKT’s ‘Sentuhan Kasih KPKT’ Program in Teluk Intan, 28 projects involving public infrastructure, development, housing, and landscaping are being upgraded.

Minister Nga Kor Ming stated that this allocation aims to enhance the welfare of local residents.

During the Sentuhan Kasih KPKT visit to Teluk Intan, the KPKT team inspected development projects planned for Kampung Bahagia, Hilir Perak, particularly the Kampung Angkat MADANI KPKT.

“As part of the Sentuhan Kasih KPKT visit, I also officiated the groundbreaking ceremony of the Bandar PR1MA Teluk Intan,” he said.

“The PR1MA Teluk Intan project, situated on over 140 acres of PR1MA-owned land, is the largest PR1MA project to date, with an allocation of RM511 million,” he said

Towards the end of the visit, Kor Ming also visited SJK (C) San Min No.1 and No.2, Teluk Intan, to officiate the launch of the Bomba Junior program.

Bomba Junior is considered one of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department’s (JBPM) initiatives to foster early fire safety culture, particularly among school students.
