IPOH : Users who have to travel through the main roads in the Ipoh Timor Parliamentary area can feel relieved when the quality of the existing roads will be improved.
This follows the allocation request for the resurfacing of these main roads, which was submitted by the Office of the Member of Parliament for Ipoh Timor.
The matter was announced by Pinji State Assemblyman (ADUN), Goh See Hua.
According to him, the request was submitted last March.
“As a result, site visits to the affected locations were conducted by officers from the State Development Office (PPN) of Perak to assess the conditions and estimate the costs for the resurfacing works of these roads.
“It is hoped that this request will be considered and approved to ensure the comfort and safety of the people, especially in the Ipoh Timor Parliamentary constituency,” he said.
Among the locations of the involved roads are within the Canning State Constituency, Pinji State Constituency, and Tebing Tinggi State Constituency.
The visits were also attended by Canning ADUN, Jenny Choy; Tebing Tinggi ADUN, Dr. Abdul Aziz Bari; City Council Members, Ipoh City Council as well as officers from the Office of the Member of Parliament for Ipoh Timor.
