Ipoh: In a bid to ensure environmental sustainability, Dr Richard Ng is continuously striving to educate the community on how to manage garbage wisely.

Dr. Richard Ng, who also serves as the Chairman of Ipoh City Watch, conducted a door-to-door campaign today to promote proper garbage separation and recycling practices.

“Today, we met with residents of the Jelapang Tambahan housing estate to promote our garbage separation and recycling campaign. The campaign has been met with a positive response and good cooperation from the community.

“This initiative is part of the Community Recycling Project proposed by Ipoh City Watch in collaboration with RT Jelapang and Perak SWCorp.

“Since its launch on April 4, 2015, we have successfully collected 1,670 kilograms of recyclable materials.

“With this awareness, I hope the community will better understand the proper methods of garbage disposal, thereby contributing to the sustainability of the natural environment,” he said.
