Human hand found at three-vehicle accident site in Ipoh

IPOH: A severed human wrist was discovered at the scene of a three-vehicle accident near Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta, here today.

According to the Deputy Director of Operations Division of the Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, the accident occurred around 11:16 AM and also resulted in a fire involving one of the cars.

He said personnel from the Tambun Fire and Rescue Station responded to the scene and found the accident involved a Toyota Vios, Proton Saga, and Honda Accord.

“The Toyota Vios car was 95 percent burnt, while the Proton Saga and Honda Accord were involved in a collision.

“A severed human hand was found at the accident site.

“However, all the victims involved were gone when the fire department arrived at the scene,” he said in a statement here today.

He added that the operation commander subsequently extinguished the fire using two hose lines from the fire engine water tank.

He said the case has been handed over to the police for further action.

The operation involving nine personnel ended at 11:49 AM.
