PR1MA Teluk Intan City Project to Build 1,500 Residences for Residents

TELUK INTAN: A total of 1,500 residences are set to be constructed in the PR1MA Teluk Intan City Project, which is also the largest PR1MA project and the first PR1MA City in the country.

It is being developed on over 140 acres of PR1MA-owned land.

This project will provide community facilities such as a centrally located recreational park facing a lake, a multipurpose hall, a mosque, childcare centres (taska), kindergartens (tadika), and a food court.

A total of 6 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) documents have been exchanged between PR1MA and several financial institutions.

These include Cagamas Berhad, Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad, MBSB Bank, Bank Simpanan Nasional, Koperasi Co-opbank Pertama Malaysia Berhad, and Affin Islamic Bank Berhad.

This is to offer various financial loans to meet the housing needs of PR1MA homebuyers and for the development of upcoming PR1MA projects.

Speaking to reporters, the Minister of Housing and Local Government, Nga Kor Ming, mentioned that this year the government, through his ministry, has increased the Housing Credit Guarantee Scheme (SJKP).

The amount has been raised from RM5 billion to RM10 billion to ensure every Malaysian family has their own home.

In other developments, Kor Ming informed that a total of RM8.7 million has been allocated to Teluk Intan for the implementation of public infrastructure upgrading projects.

This includes 11 projects in Kampung Angkat Madani and Kampung Bahagia.
