IPOH: Blood donations are always needed and often insufficient.
To ensure the needs of patients are met, Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh (HPRB) has received a blood donation from Johor.
The Blood Bank of Hospital Enche’ Besar Hajjah Khalsom, Kluang, supplied 100 bags of blood to HPRB’s Blood Bank Unit. Of these, 60 bags are of type O blood, and 40 bags are of type A.
In a statement, the HPRB Blood Bank expressed gratitude for the blood donation for patients in need.
“We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Johor Blood Bank for their invaluable assistance to patients here.
“To the people of Ipoh specifically, and Perak generally, you are the heroes who can help the community by donating to the blood bank,” the statement said.
