In celebration of 150 years of Taiping, Taiping Sikh’s are organising two events in these coming days.
The first will be a hockey tournament on July 6, which will be held at the Gurdwara Sahib Taiping, Perak, with the game starting at 3pm.
Following that, there will be a Dinner Night on July 7, which will be held at Dewan Ong Si Thye Guan Tong, Taiping, starting at 7 pm. The special guest of this dinner will be YB Tuan Gobind Singh Deo, Menteri Digital Malaysia.
These are part of their efforts to preserve heritage amidst urbanisation.
