IPOH: A total cash prize of RM5,800 awaits the winners of the Photography Contest Showcasing Perak’s Beauty, organised by the Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI) from July 15 to August 25.
The contest is held in conjunction with the 17th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention (WCEC) and Visit Perak Year 2024.
This photography competition is co-organised by the Perak Chinese Photography Arts Association and supported by Tourism Perak.
Participation is open to all Malaysians aged 16 and above and must feature the original work of the photographers.
The first prize winner will receive RM2,000, the second prize RM1,000, and the third prize RM800, along with certificates.
There are also 5 merit prizes worth RM200 each and 10 consolation prizes worth RM100 each.
The contest themes include Perak’s tourist attractions, heritage buildings, landmarks, cave attractions, landscapes, food culture, and lifestyle.
There are no restrictions on the photo-taking equipment used for entries.
Participants may use various photo-taking devices, including mobile phones and drones, besides cameras.
Each participant can submit up to a maximum of 20 photos.
Through this contest, photography enthusiasts can capture and showcase the beautiful landscapes and food culture of Perak through their lenses, preserving its most enchanting aspects.
All contest photos must be uploaded to the participants’ personal social media accounts (Facebook or Instagram) with the hashtags #PCCCIPERAK2024 and #TravelPerakLah.
Then, submit the relevant contest photos to pcpacontest@gmail.com with details such as name, address, identification number, phone number, and email.
