SERI ISKANDAR: Eight entrepreneurs from Perak have been chosen to participate in the Malaysia Fest 2024 sales program in Singapore from July 25 to 28.
These entrepreneurs underwent an application and interview process and were selected based on their capabilities, program focus, and production capacity.
Among the selected companies are Delcasis Group Sdn. Bhd., Chor World, Abrah Food Industries, Setia Selama Enterprise, and Future Yusoff Enterprise.
Also involved are Mouthgasm Sdn. Bhd., KPL Food Sdn. Bhd., and Helmy Agrisolution Sdn. Bhd.
Perak’s Exco for Cooperative Development and Entrepreneurs, Dato’ Salbiah Mohamed, stated that participation in such expos indirectly boosts the economic contribution to Perak.
She noted that as the largest Malaysian sales expo in Singapore, having Perak’s entrepreneurs present is crucial for market expansion.
“This year, the state government, through the Perak State Entrepreneur Secretariat (STeP) in collaboration with the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) of the state, is sponsoring part of the costs for the involved entrepreneurs.
“All these entrepreneurs have gone through an application and interview process and were selected based on their abilities, program focus, and production capacity,” she said.
She made these comments at a press conference for the Perak Entrepreneurs’ Product Release event for Malaysia Fest 2024.
The release was officiated by the Chairman of the State Committee for Rural Development, Plantation, Agriculture, and Food Industry, Dato’ Zolkafly Harun.
