Mental Health Advocacy for Students

Good Shepherd Services (GSS) is set to launch the “District-Wide Mental Health Advocacy Campaign,” part of their “Students in MIND” project, aimed at enhancing mental health wellbeing across secondary schools in Kinta Utara, Ipoh. This vital initiative, funded by Yayasan Hasanah and supported by the Ministry of Finance, prioritises the mental health of students.

The campaign promises a day filled with informative sessions and interactive activities. Experts will share valuable insights and strategies for maintaining well-being, while engaging games are designed to promote mental health awareness, regardless of age. Additionally, student advocates from eight secondary schools, guided by school counsellors, will host informative booths showcasing essential mental health resources.
