Kinta Valley String Orchestra (KVSO) hosted a Candlelight Concert at 1Lasam recently. Between the venue and the candlelight set up, it created an enchanting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the performances of the evening.
With a mixture of contemporary game music and the timeless tunes of Miyazaki’s Studio Ghibli, it was a night of beautiful ambience and music that appealed to audiences of all ages.
From a violin solo by Ng Ken Ee with piano accompaniment by Chee Yu Jun, to performances by the chamber ensemble, the audience was left with a sense of wonder and nostalgia.
KVSO expressed their thanks to their sister organisation, the Kinta Valley Wind Orchestra (KVWO) as well as the people of 1Lasam building, for not only providing the venue but a place of practice for them to make the event a success.
