BUNTONG – The 4U Youth Leadership Programme (Program Kepimpinan 4U Belia) Perak 2024, organised by the Perak Youth Council (Dewan Belia Perak) under the Perak Housing and Local Government Committee, was held on July 26 at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Sungai Pari, Buntong.
The programme gathered 100 participants among Form 4 and 5 students. The main objectives of this programme were to provide students with opportunities related to School Youth (PEKERTI), TVET Education Pathways, Internet of Things (IoT) Demonstrations and Architecture, as well as the state government’s efforts to advance the TVET sector in Perak.
The programme was officiated by YB Puan Thulsi Manogaran, Member of the Perak State Legislative Assembly (ADUN) for Buntong. Also present were Mr. Ahmad Saidi Bin Mohamad Daud, Speaker of the Perak Youth Council; Mr. Ahmad Rezaudin Bin Hussein, Principal of SMK Sungai Pari, Buntong; Mr. Amirul Zahiruddin, Officer at the Perak Youth Aspiration Centre (PASAK); Mr. Khairulniza, Officer at the Perak State Family Planning Association (LPPKN); Ms. Amirtha, Lecturer at Politeknik Ungku Omar Ipoh; and Mr. Shahril Nizam, Lecturer at Sungai Siput Community College, along with other honoured guests.
Mr. Khuswindera Singh, the Programme Director and a member of the Perak Youth Council for DUN N.30 Buntong, extended his heartfelt thanks to all parties involved, both directly and indirectly, especially to the school and its principal, Mr. Ahmad Rezaudin, for their cooperation and commitment.
He also expressed thanks to MYDIN Malaysia for donating 10 sets of student kits and Limon drink cartons to several B40 students.
