IPOH: The Bojen Car Wash & Spa serves as a platform and opens opportunities for young people to build careers in the car wash business.
Its owner, Mohd Salor Wadi Mohd Nor, stated that this opportunity counters the perception that this field lacks a future.
“In the past, people regarded the car wash career as just ordinary.
“However, now this field can be considered a promising career.
“This is because we offer commissions, stable salaries, and even half-month advances, so it’s a good opportunity for those who want to venture into the car wash business,” he said when met.
Mohd Salor Wadi emphasized that this career can now generate a high income.
“Previously, the salary might have been RM300, but now, if diligent, one can earn RM2,000 to RM3,000.
“Moreover, EPF and Socso are also provided, ensuring a secure future,” he said.
He mentioned that the car wash also offers training for those interested.
“Some come from Melaka to train here as they want to open a car wash, so they undergo training here,” he said
Additionally, he said that his car wash provides services to government bodies preparing for retirement.
“We cooperate with the Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans (ATM).
“Here, ATM sends its members interested in this field for three-month courses, where we teach them detailing from start to finish,” he said.
According to him, his car wash, based in Tambun, started operating in 2018 at a nearby location before moving to a new location two years ago.
He said the car wash offers around 15 types of services, including washing military vehicles.
“Among the services popular with customers are headlamp cleaning, cushion cleaning, polishing, waxing, detailing, and interior services. We also offer ‘Interior VVIP service’,” he said.
He added, that they offer affordable prices and always prioritize customer satisfaction.
“For vehicle washing, it’s only RM15, and for three-layer polishing, we charge only RM180.
“Customers will surely smile after receiving our services, that’s our promise, we work until they are satisfied,” he said.
Additionally, he also plans to open a cafe that offers a light menu for customers while they wait.
