IPOH: A cash prize of RM3,000 awaits the winner who successfully loses weight in the Kelab Seri Perak Darul Ridzuan (Kesedar) Trim and Fit Perak Sejahtera 2030 program.
The second place will receive RM2,000, while the third place will earn RM1,000.
These cash prizes aim to boost motivation for adopting a healthy lifestyle and to foster active and productive employees.
The program, a collaboration between Kesedar and the Perak State Health Department (JKN), is a workplace health and weight management intervention.
It runs for eight weeks from August 7 to October 2 and is open to public sector employees.
The program features four categories: men under 40, men 40 and above, women under 40, and women 40 and above.
The program’s objectives include raising awareness and encouraging participants to adopt a healthy lifestyle while addressing health issues such as obesity.
The launch of the program was officiated by the Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.
