Yayasan Ipoh (YI) will be hosting the HPV Immunisation Programme on August 24, from 1 pm to 5 pm at their Yayasan Ipoh Convention Centre at Lot 158413, Lorong Bercham 8, Bercham, 31400 Ipoh.
This programme is open to all men and women aged 13 up to 26.
While 26 is technically the upper age limit, it has been informed to Ipoh Echo that those older than 26 are also welcome. The World Health Organisation (WHO) said that those up to age 45 may take the immunisation.
While the normal price of HPV immunisation is RM500, this programme provides free immunisation.
